TV and screenwriter Amadou Diallo is a Renaissance man with a career that has spanned multiple art forms. He's toured and recorded as a jazz musician, had solo photography exhibitions and his journalism has appeared in The Washington Post, The Atlantic and the PBS NewsHour. His pilot, THE COUNTDOWN, was adapted into a short story published in The New  York Times’ Sunday Review. His portfolio of TV pilots and feature films include a family drama set in gentrified Brooklyn, a political espionage thriller, and a Black soldier’s tale of personal redemption in the Civil War south. Amadou is a Mentorship Matters fellowship alumni.
