Saeed Crumpler, an African American rapper turned Screenwriter, grew up in Oakland, CA in the Bay Area. He attended nearby San Francisco State University where he graduated with a degree in Screenwriting, and also had a successful independent hip-hop career where he made songs with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Chamillionaire. Saeed's a 2021 Nickelodeon TV Writers fellow and a 2021 TV Mentorship Matters program.
This year Saeed got hired to write a rap biopic and co-write a movie for Jamie Fox production company/ VH1/ MTV called "Hip Hop Family Christmas" that released Dec. 6th. Saeed is currently a staffed TV writer on season 2 of "Flatbush Misdemeanors" and was a consultant on the upcoming season of "Blindspotting".
